| Thank you for your support! I’m pleased to serve as the 4th ward city council representative, and I hope you’ll feel free to get in touch when you have concerns or questions, or just to talk about neighborhood or city issues. I’m currently on the following council committees: finance, city services, recreation, and communications. I attend the city’s comprehensive plan meetings, the recreation advisory board, and the tree commission meetings. You can
contact me by phone or e-mail if you want to talk: |

I have two children, and live in the near eastside neighborhood. My work in the past several years has focused on school funding reform in Ohio, and I serve as the Executive Director of the Ohio Fair Schools Campaign, a statewide grassroots non-profit. I'm also a trained mediator, with experience teaching conflict resolution in area schools, and previously served on the Boards of the Athens Area Mediation Service and the League of Women Voters of Athens County. Jim (my husband) works for the Athens News and graduated from Ohio University. Jeremiah is 12, loves Pokemon and Yugioh cards, and attends Athens Middle School. Pauline is 4, loves to make art, tell stories and play, and attends Pre-school at River Valley. |
